At Calverley Village Day Nursery, we employ a wide range of staff considering their experience, qualifications, dedication and above all a passion to work with children.

The staff have many years of experience and are selected for their skills and caring nature. We are all passionate about childcare with a low turnover of staff we pride ourselves in our happy team!

All staff are vetted in line with our safer recruitment process. We request references, carry out enhanced DBS checks and all are registered on the update service.

We also have a supportive management team with a wealth of experience in childcare, our door is always open, and we aim to be approachable, friendly and reassuring.

We are fortunate to have an owner, Sarah who is directly involved in overseeing the nurseries day to day operation. We pride ourselves on being a family run setting, in the heart of our community. You will also sometimes see Maggie the dog in the office with a welcome wag of her tail!

Emma the manager is dedicated and highly experienced, she brings many years of expertise in early years education and has been at our setting for over 14 years! Emma ensures our nursery runs smoothly, safely, and with a clear focus on creating a loving, stimulating environment where every child can thrive.

Louise is the Deputy manager, she brings a wealth of experience, a calm and nurturing approach, and a deep understanding of our nursery’s values and daily routines as she has been at our setting over 12 years. Louise plays a key role in supporting the team, mentoring staff, and ensuring high standards of care and education across all age groups.

All our staff are first aid trained in line with Millies Mark and keep up to date with the training available.
